crazing performance

It’s the situation called “crazing”, which’s totally normal for kamado bbq and happened to all the kamado in the world, including Big Green Egg, Kamado Joe etc, but not will chip off. “Crazing” is caused by the different expansion rate between ceramic and glazing, once it pulled out of the kiln, it happened. Our high glossy glazing looks better, while it also make crazing more obvious.

You will see crazing more clearly once some dust on it, and usually dust is more easily to be on the lid, that’s why your customer found lid come with crazing. If he put some dust on the base, it’s same.
